Everything You Need to Know About Planning a Party at the Emory Valley Pool...
A member can have up to 8 guests without booking a party, but if you are inviting 9 or more people, you MUST book a party in advance even if some of your party guests are members. All parties must be booked and supervised by an adult member. This ensures the safety of ALL members and guests as it allows us to schedule the appropriate number of lifeguards. Booking a party also allows you sole use of the Party Pavilion.
Party hosts are responsible for guests, and it is up to the host to make sure all party guests follow pool rules. The party fee covers lifeguards, and use of facilities, but it is up to the host to leave the Party Pavilion clean with all party trash properly disposed of.
Parties may be scheduled to begin between 12 noon and 7:30 p.m. Monday - Friday, excluding holidays. Parties cannot be scheduled on Saturday or on Sunday, so that our member families can relax and enjoy the pool and use the Pavilion and grills on the weekend.
Party Fees
Standard Party - $50.00 if scheduled to begin between 12 noon and 5:00 p.m. or $75.00 if scheduled to begin after 5:00 p.m. A standard party includes use of the Party Pavilion for 2 hours with up to 20 swimmers.
Since we all know membership has its privileges, parties scheduled by Non-Members will remain $200.00 for 2 hours with 20 guests.
All scheduled parties include payment to guards on duty; The guards will be paid for 2-3 hours depending on the option you choose; EVRC will arrange all lifeguards.
Parties are scheduled on a first-to-reserve basis. You can reserve a party time by contacting Donna Craven, but your reservation will not be confirmed unless your payment is received within 5 days of reserving the date. If your payment isn't received by that time, the date will open back up to other members. If you need to cancel your party, please do so as soon as possible. You must cancel at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund. Parties may also be canceled or rescheduled in the event of rain.
